Cowboys TE Princeton Fant Carted Off with Apparent Knee Injury
Dallas Cowboys tight end Princeton Fant was carted off the field during Monday's first padded practice after suffering an apparent knee injury while blocking.
What happened
Princeton Fant collided with running back Israel Abanikanda on a run play and went down with a left leg/knee injury. He was unable to put weight on the leg, was helped to the trainer's tent, and later carted to the locker room. Reports indicate he is scheduled for an MRI to determine the severity.
Fantasy impact
Fant is a depth tight end competing for a roster or practice-squad spot behind Jake Ferguson. The injury reduces his already limited path to meaningful snaps. Standard fantasy managers can ignore the development; only deep dynasty or IDP formats with TE depth needs may note it.
