Jordan Addison to Miss a Day or Two After Jamming Thumb
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison jammed his thumb earlier this week and will miss a day or two of practice; imaging came back clean with no structural damage expected.
What happened
Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell announced that wide receiver Jordan Addison jammed his thumb on routes earlier in the week and will sit out a day or two of practice. All imaging returned clean. O'Connell stated: "It's just a little sore and we want to be able to let him put this thing behind him in the next day or two, but nothing to be concerned about." Addison remained on the field but did not participate in catching drills Wednesday.
Fantasy impact
This is a minor, short-term issue with clean imaging and an expected quick return. Addison's fantasy value as a WR2/3 option opposite Justin Jefferson remains intact. No ranking adjustment is necessary beyond a temporary note for managers in the middle of drafts this week.
